About Us

Owner, Tammy Lester, was inspired to create Jumping With You to combine her love of sewing and crafting with her fondness for horses and spending time at the barn. 

Tammy has always loved horses, but finally took her first steps into the equestrian world when her daughter, Breanna, began taking riding lessons in 2003. As Breanna grew into her discipline of choice, eventing, it became clear that the years to follow would be full of braiding, schooling, and 3-day competitions. Not to mention shopping for tack, equestrian team jackets, and the perfect matching set in Breanna's cross-country colors, teal & purple. Tammy was there for all of it, and loved every minute, but held her breath every time Breanna entered the ring. She would sit on the sidelines, on the edge of her seat and say "Good luck, I'll be Jumping With You!" referring to the way her heart would skip a beat each time her daughter went over a jump.

Breanna currently works with an off-the-track Thoroughbred named Captain Jameson (James). This leaves plenty of time for Tammy to learn to ride on her retired eventer, Arabian Quarter pony, Stuart Little (Stewie). Whether she's riding, watching Breanna train, or just hanging out around the barn, Tammy believes a moment spent with horses is never wasted.

Through Jumping With You, Tammy hopes to reach other horse lovers and those who support them, through an array of hand designed products. The Jumping With You product line aims to help everyone bring a touch of fun and individuality to each day at the barn, on the farm, or in the ring.
